
For all its buzz, world-class shopping precincts and considerable gastronomical prowess, when it comes to booking a hotel in Melbourne, most of the hotel options include a sky rise building or something more boutique. While these are both perfectly great options, if you’re looking for more of an authentic, or shall we say local experience, you probably need to rent an apartment in one of Melbourne’s many diverse suburbs. But then, you’ll sadly forfeit the comfortable hotel experience.
With this exact conundrum in mind, Melbourne local Darren Rubenstein pooled his experiences across travel, hospitality and design to come up with United Places, a unique 12-room boutique hotel that takes a highly curated approach to its services.
