We are thrilled to reveal that three Carr projects have been shortlisted for the 2025 INDE Awards, a program that celebrates exceptional and boundary-breaking architecture and design.

Shortlisted in The Building Space category, 116 Rokeby is conceived to create a ‘breathing space’, which represents our vision for this future office. It is founded on the desire to shape spaces that harness the fundamental characteristics of abundant natural light, controlled fresh air, adaptability in space, and environmental sustainability, all set within a strong built form.

The Building Space category is the grand prize for the region’s most progressive architecture and is awarded to the project that marks a new direction in the future of architecture and its capacity to respond to its local place and culture.

Also shortlisted is Kokoda House Teneriffe, which features in the Retail Space category. Created in partnership with Cottee Parker Architects for Kokoda Property, this project redefines the apartment-buying experience through a design-driven, immersive journey that prioritises inspiration over transaction.

Retail takes many guises today, but in physical retail spaces, impact and experience are critical. This prize is awarded to a space with mastery over retail’s shifting ground.

Como Terraces. Photographed by Tom Ross.

Lastly, Como Terraces has been named a finalist in the Multi-Residential Building category. Read as a series of buildings rather than one large apartment block, Como Terraces is developed by Cbus Property and Sterling Global and appears as a collection of monolithic forms forged from the earth.

The overall architectural outcome of Como Terraces is a collection of three-storey built forms that traverse the topography with slight shifts and rotations to maximise expansive views, space, and natural light to all apartments.

The winners will be announced at a gala awards evening in Sydney on July 31 2025.
