
We have an exciting part-time opportunity for a proactive, self-motivated P&C professional seeking autonomy, variety, and the ability to make a direct impact supporting a dynamic studio environment across Carr’s Melbourne and Brisbane studios.
About the role
With a strong focus on hands-on P&C delivery, administration, and continuous process improvement, the successful candidate will be self-motivated and hands-on (“on the tools”). Working closely with the Practice Manager, this role will be responsible for P&C administration, employee lifecycle management, and elevating internal processes. Flexible work hours and days are negotiable.
Key Requirements
- Serve as the first point of contact for all P&C matters across both studios, providing practical, timely, and solutions-oriented advice and support to managers and staff.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding, including drafting position descriptions, advertising roles, coordinating interviews, preparing contracts, and conducting exit interviews.
- Maintain, update, and administer P&C policies, procedures and records, ensuring compliance with current employment legislation and best practice.
- Oversee employee relations and performance management, and support managers with conflict resolution, disciplinary, and grievance processes.
- Coordinate and support performance reviews, learning and development initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
- Monitor and report on key P&C metrics and trends, recommending and implementing process and policy improvements to elevate internal practices.
- Maintain accurate P&C records and HRIS, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Support workplace health and safety compliance and initiatives across both studios.
- Support the execution of P&C initiatives (e.g. engagement surveys, wellness and social committee programs).
- Review and improve P&C administration and internal processes to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Assist in planning and managing training programs to meet organisational and employee development needs.

Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a generalist HR or HR role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, HR best practices, and contemporary P&C approaches.
- Experience supporting creative, professional services, or studio-based environments is desirable.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
