Norton Rose National Branding

Interior Design 2010

Following the highly successful roll out of workplaces for international law firm Deacons around the country, Carr was appointed to assist the organisation in rebranding its tenancies following a merger with leading global legal practice Norton Rose.

Adhering to the Norton Rose branding guidelines, yet introducing a distinctive local interpretation, Carr developed a signage and space branding approach that seamlessly fused the Norton Rose identity with the existing design of each tenancy.

The project included external, reception and way finding signage elements for workplaces in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Canberra.

The inclusion of illuminated branding installations sought to reinforce the Norton Rose identity and challenge the traditional notion of signage within the workplace.

Lindy Mace, National Facilities and Procurement Manager, Norton Rose commented,
“Carr Design and Deacon’s highly successful relationship over the past 10 years made them the first choice in the re-branding of all Deacons offices around the country to reflect the Norton Rose merger.

Under an extraordinarily short time frame and with a minimal budget, Carr successfully developed an individual branding installation for each of the five tenancies. Not only did these effectively answer the brief for the incorporation of the Norton Rose logo, but clear references to locality were cleverly introduced.

Carr continues to deliver innovative design solutions on time and on budget.”
